DriveIt's 74 Chevelle Malibu Classic

Hello. My name is Chris. I am the proud owner of a 74 Chevelle Malibu Classic.  It is my daily driver. I am currently restoring it when time and my wallet will allow.  The car a factory Straight six car from Canada. It now has a '73 model 350 cubic inch smallblock from a 3/4 ton pickup.  The engine has not been rebuilt to my knowledge.  It is topped with a Weiand single plane Intake and Edlebrock 600 cfm Performer Carb.  The headers were traded for with a transfer case donated by my uncle who actually donated the car to me.  It also has an Accell HEI Super coil.  The engine is currently backed by a 350 Turbo from the same truck I borrowed the motor from. I had to cut the drive shaft to make it work with the long tail tranny, but it works.  A 2.73 gear in the back which will be changed to at least a 3:08 soon when a 700R4 is found to go with it.. I hope the 10-12 mpg's I am currently getting goes up a bit with that.

There are a couple renderings of what the car could look like when I get it finished as well.

The car was originally purchased by my uncle with the intent of running it in a demolition derby.  I could not let that happen.  To the left you will see a few photos of the car.  Enjoy!
